Writing to us

One address for everybody: mathieu@cutscene.studio. A person reads and replies, in French or in English.

  • You use Cutscene and have a question, a problem or a complaint: this is the address.
  • You think something shared on the Community page should not be there (your brand, your work, a person, illegal content): the “Report this share” link, on that content's page, is the fastest, with or without an account. For a comment, it is “Report”, under the comment. You can also write to us, giving the page's address, what is wrong and why.
  • You are named or identified in a comment and want to answer it (right of reply, loi du 21 juin 2004, article 1-1, III): write to the director of publication, Mathieu Neumar, at mathieu@cutscene.studio, within three months of the comment being put online. Give the comment's address, the passages you contest and the text of your reply. It is free. Your reply is put online under the piece, by the team, presented as a right of reply, within three days of its receipt; if we cannot publish it, we tell you why.
  • You think another item of content we host is illegal (a film or a picture kept on an account, a public name): write to us at this address, by e-mail. Say where it is, as exactly as you can (its address, if you have it), why it would be illegal, your name and your e-mail address (not needed if you report the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of a child, or child pornography), and that you believe in good faith that what you write is accurate and complete. A person acknowledges receipt, decides quickly, and tells you what was decided and how to contest it.
  • You represent an authority (a Member State of the European Union, the European Commission, the European Board for Digital Services): this address is our single point of contact, in French or in English.

In case of disagreement

Write to us: mathieu@cutscene.studio. A real person will reply within ten working days at most.

The rules of the service are in the Terms, what we do with your data on the Privacy page. French law applies, subject to the mandatory rules that protect a consumer in their own country (see the Terms).

What belongs to whom

The name Cutscene, the site, the editor and the pieces of the library that we made (shots, transitions, styles, sounds, music) are ours; those of the Community page remain their authors'. What you can do with them in your films is set out in the Terms. The typefaces and the open-source software the service uses belong to their authors: see the credits.

The films, pictures and brands that users put in the service are theirs.
