API keys

A key lets an assistant act on your account when it cannot click “Allow”, and lets the connector on your computer export as your plan allows. A key is shown only once, when you create it.

What a key opensPrefixes, the addresses a key opens, consent, withdrawal

Two ways to let an assistant act on your account: an access token, given by “Allow”, and a key, which you make yourself. Each one is withdrawn in one click, in “My account”, “Connected applications”.

An access token

Given by “Allow”, for an application (Claude, ChatGPT…). It starts with cso_ and is good for the online connector's address only.

A key

Made with “Create a key”, here or in “My account”, “Connected applications”; it is shown only once. It starts with cs_. It serves the connector on your computer and the online connector.

The same box as “Allow”

Making a key asks for the same box, never ticked in advance. The online connector refuses a key made before that box (before 14 October 2026): make a new one. Such a key still works for the connector on your computer.

The addresses a key opens

These addresses, and no other: every other page of Cutscene refuses it.

  • POST /mcpThe online connector
  • POST /api/exports/markGiving a file you export its invisible watermark (noted with your account, for a year), and counting the free plan's exports
  • GET /api/marketWhat others shared
  • GET /api/market/mineWhat you shared
  • POST /api/market/mineSharing a piece of your folder
  • POST /api/market/recipesTaking a shared piece
  • GET /api/meYour account and what your plan opens
  • POST /api/pieces/useCounting the pieces of a film kept or exported

Withdrawing

“Remove access”, beside each application and each key: refused at once. Changing, setting or removing your password removes the applications' access. Your API keys keep working; we email you a list of them.
